RIFT VALLEY SUPERIOR COLLEGE

Is an educational institution committed to providing scholarships to Tanzanian youth so they can become economically independent and contribute to their families and the nation as a whole. The institution was established in Arusha City in 2009 under Superior Guides & Academic Ltd, mainly focusing on training driver guides during the low tourism season. It was led by Elias Kapolondo and Elibariki Wellingtone Kitundu.


Ten years later 2019, the institution moved its offices to Monduli District, Migungani Ward, where the management remained under Elibariki Wellingtone Kitundu and continued operating under the name Rift Valley Superior College and Academic Ltd after the co-founder withdrew due to illness.


The institution continued supporting Tanzanian society by helping young people gain skills in the following fields:

1. Hotel Management
2. Tourism and Tour Guiding
3. Hair Dressing and Beauty
4. Tailoring and Sewing.
5. Nursery School Teaching
6. Computer Studies

All Tanzanian students receive a 100% scholarship and are not required to pay tuition fees. Students only pay for uniforms, accommodation, and graduation expenses.


All courses offered at the college are at certificate level and take one year to complete, consisting of two semesters followed by graduation ceremonies. After graduation, students attend three months of practical field training.

Additional free services offered to all students include:

• Free English language classes
• Free French language classes
• Free Introduction to Computer studies
• Free internet services (FREE WIFI)

This educational institution, which is dedicated to helping young people study without paying tuition fees, works together with friends and supporters from within and outside the country to facilitate its operations, especially through the support of the family of the Director, Elibariki Wellingtone Kitundu.


The institution welcomes all individuals and organizations from within and outside the country who are willing to support young people in obtaining vocational education so they can become economically independent and support their families. Donations received include:

• Financial support
• Food supplies
• Clothing
• Books
• Sports equipment
• Construction of classrooms and dormitories to help accommodate more students each year

Currently, Rift Valley Superior College has the capacity to support only 100 students per year. However, if more supporters from within and outside the country volunteer to cover the costs of uniforms and accommodation, the institution expects to assist many more young people. By the year 2030, the institution aims to support 500 Tanzanian youths annually.


The institution also welcomes volunteers from within and outside the country to teach students in all areas of study, including sports activities. International volunteers are only required to contribute a small amount of money for food and accommodation.
